So the big day has arrived. So much effort, emotion and love has gone into planning the perfect day to celebrate with your nearest and dearest. You might feel a string of emotions - anticipation, excitement, nervousness (hopefully no cold feet!) These are all totally normal, and expected, but there are ways you can help to calm those nerves and set yourself up for the day ahead.
A Pilates or yoga class on the morning of your wedding serves to ground you, give release to your anxious energy and leave you feeling like you’ve had a bit of a workout too!
Pilates and yoga both combine breath and movement, allowing you to turn your attention inward and away from everything else going on. You also can’t go past the hit of serotonin and endorphins you get from exercising.
Whether you’re fully in your ‘Pilates era’ or you haven’t stepped foot on a mat in a while, we won’t take ourselves too seriously and I will make sure the class is accessible for everyone. Having some relaxing, quiet time and maybe a bit of a giggle with your bridal party and family in these moments before the day begins can create memories you’ll cherish forever.
